Only one startup from Baltics and Scandinavia reached to the EU-Startups Summit pitch competition finals, and it was a real estate technology company Bidrento!

Bidrento is a rental property management software that simplifies the management of rental real estate. Bidrento was the only startup from the Baltics and Scandinavia which reached the finals (selected from about 1000 applicants from the EU) and will compete with startups from London, Berlin, and others.

The EU-Startup Summit will take place on 28-30 April 2021, where 15 of Europe’s most exciting early-stage start-ups will compete for a dignified prize package.

In the finals, there are startups from all over Europe – for example, several startups are from London and Berlin.

“Reaching the finals and being among the hottest European startups is an impressive achievement. The competition was indeed intense and it covered the whole of the European Union. Bidrento is not only the one real estate technology startup but it is also the only startup from the whole Baltics and Scandinavia which made it to the finals. We are very proud of it and at the same time it is also a responsibility to represent Estonia and the whole region at such a big event, “said Taavo Annus, CEO and co-founder of Bidrento.

Bidrento recently raised investment from Pipedrive founders and a fresh round of financing was led by the founders of Pipedrive Timo Rein and Urmas Purde. Peep Vain, Pipedrive’s first investor, Taavi Kotka, an angel investor and Estonian E-residency creator, Ivo Mägi, the founder of several start-ups, and well-known investors in the local real estate sector participated in this round.

The EU-Startup Summit is an annual EU start-up conference. The event will introduce Europe’s hottest start-ups and bring together to learn from the most successful European entrepreneurs of our time. More information about the competition finals can be found here.
