Since 2019, the DREA Award has recognised some of the most innovative technology solutions in the international real estate sector. This year’s 56-member jury included experts from real estate, technology and investment, with representatives from organisations and companies such as RICS, PwC Germany, Fifth Wall, JLL Spark, RET Ventures, Nemetschek Group and Schroders Capital Real Estate. Two finalists were selected in each of the six categories and invited to present their solutions on stage at EXPO REAL in Munich on 5 October.
The international jury recognised Bidrento’s comprehensive approach to property management, bringing property management automation, financial processes, maintenance, tenant communication and the digital tenant experience together in one platform. According to Bidrento co-founder and CEO Taavo Annus, the recognition is particularly important as it is Bidrento’s first award win in Germany.
“Germany is a strategically very important market for us, so we are especially pleased to receive recognition here for Bidrento’s technological capabilities and our contribution to the tenant experience. The German real estate market is large and professional, while also undergoing rapid digitalisation. For us, this win confirms that the solution we have been building for years around the needs of different European markets can compete in one of Europe’s most demanding real estate markets,” said Annus.
The award was presented at EXPO REAL, Europe’s largest real estate trade fair. In 2025, the event attracted approximately 42,000 visitors from more than 70 countries.

Focus on the digital tenant experience
Bidrento’s competition presentation focused on how real estate operators can use one platform to manage different property types and markets while automating a large part of their daily back-office work.
According to Annus, the efficiency of the property manager is becoming increasingly important, but so is the digital experience provided to tenants.
An important part of the solution is Bidrento’s tenant app, which is unique in the Baltics and helps property managers reduce manual work, speed up everyday communication and make tenant service more seamless. The AI Assistant integrated into the app further helps reduce workload and gives property managers more time to focus on matters that genuinely require human involvement.
